I just gave birth last month to my 3rd child and she was almost 12lbs believe it or not and you’d be amazed by some of the comments I got…. things is after carrying around 3 babies nothing seems to phase me. You’re going to be amazed how much none of those things matter anymore once you have that beautiful little baby in your arms.. and I think you’ll come to realize that most people mean absolutely no harm by their words when they do things like that. I’ve actually found myself commenting on other women since I’ve had my kids. I don’t know why it happens sometimes lol. Sounds absurd but.. pregnancy and birth are such a miracle and joy I think most people just want to acknowledge it but don’t have the right words :)

I know just what you mean! One night I was at Chuck E. Cheese with my son and this lady came up to me and said very loudly oh look she is having twins. Me red in the face turned and said nope just one! I am short and baby was 7lbs 11oz.

Even now that my baby is 5 months I get comments like “Is it hard to lose weight while nursing?” I am thinking wow thanks I must look wonderful.

I wrote a blog post on my honest thoughts about it awhile back and found comfort that the story was true for others moms as well.

Hang in there! It’s all worth it for the sweet baby you get! :)
