My two-and-a-half year old is left handed too. We've tried giving her a fork/spoon and even writing utensils in her right hand but she quickly switches to her left. At first we tried to 'correct' her, but we soon realized there is nothing to correct. She is perfect in her own way, and being left handed is perfectly normal. Everyone in my family is right handed, everyone in my husband's family is right handed... She just inherited the gene from her great grandfather... And he was a very wise man! Loved your post!
