Personally I wouldn’t give up decorating at all but I would think twice about items that might be deemed scary. We didn’t have tons of decorations before my daughter, I bought most of them after having her but I guess I kept her in mind while making purchases and went the more cartoony looking route than scary. Same goes with other holidays – no glass ornaments down low on this girl’s tree!

I’d like to say I could be one of those parents who just proceeds with business as usual post kids but my goodness – it’s anything but what I thought of as “the usual” before!

My girls(4 1/2 & 11 months) have learned not to touch it. My oldest was great,she never touched anything that wasn’t hers,the baby on the other hand gives me a run for my money. I just make sure if it’s breakable it’s out of her reach I don’t not put it out because of her.
