The big game is coming up this weekend, so we decided to throw our own Super Bowl Party! Inspired by recipes from some awesome bloggers, we made a delicious party spread.
Are you planning on watching the game with family and/or friends? Here are some great recipes and ideas for easy party food, which can also be used for celebrations other than Super Bowl parties. These are even kid-approved!
Crescent Pepperoni Roll-ups
Recipe from Inspired Dreamer
Game Day Sausage Cheese Dip
- 1 roll breakfast sausage
- 15oz jar of cheese
- 10oz can of tomatoes and chilies (we used mild Ro*Tel)
Pour cheese in slow cooker and turn on low. While the cheese is warming, cook sausage and drain on a paper towel. Drain the can of tomatoes and green chilies and add to the cheese. Then add the sausage. Continue to cook on low until fully heated.
Guacamole Stuffed Tomatoes
Inspired by a recipe from Kokocooks
We followed Kokocooks instructions with a few modification. We used Campari tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes, bought pre-made guacamole (eliminating the need for mango, garlic, or avocado) and used the melon baller to put the guacamole back into the tomato.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Recipe from Forever Feeding
BBQ Mini Smokies
Drain two packages of little smokies and place in slow cooker. Pour in a bottle of BBQ sauce and cook on low until fully heated.
